NSW - BELLBROOK - A TURN-OF-THE-CENTURY HAMLET

Beautiful Bellbrook was named in 1882 after the local bellbirds and the adjacent river

Bellbrook was developed to service the farming and timber industries. Bellbrook is registered by the National Trust as a significant example of a turn-of-the-century hamlet.

There are many and varied historic sites including the famous 'Store' which was used in the filming of the hit movie 'The Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith.'

In the nearby town of Nulla Nulla is the childhood home and birthplace of Country and Western singer Slim Dusty.
