QLD - DULULU - GATEWAY TO THE BANANA SHIRE

'Please Drive to Survive' Great news !!! Dululu & Wowan Areas will soon be getting Wireless Broadband thanks to clearnetworks Clear Towns program.

DULULU is only 55 minutes from Rockhampton and is known as 'The Gateway to the Banana Shire'.

This small but vibrant little town has a population of 31 not counting dogs, cats and birds, but don't let that fool you, the locals really go 'all out' for travellers.

Due to it's prime location at the junction of the Burnett and Leichhardt highways a Driver/Reviver stop over has been established in the local park next to the Public Toilets and Dululu Hall.

During school holidays and on long weekends, friendly locals will supply knowledge of the area along with a free cuppa and snack.

The 48HR REST AREA caters to Caravans, Tents, Bus and Motorhomes with POWER and HOT SHOWERS available for a small donation.

Dululu was once a thriving Railway town of the 1900's it is now supported by the surrounding farming community and the travellers who like a stop over with a difference!
