Temora is fast becoming THE place for all types of aero sports including skydiving, aerobatics and gliding. Today recreational aviation is a hot pursuit in Temora and destined to become even bigger as adrenaline and adventure sports gain favour.


Temora is relatively fog-free with unrestricted airspace and an abundance of good weather. Ideal flying conditions are matched with a strong Aero Club and towns folk who just love flying and building small planes.

Temora is full of surprises including a two acres site for their rural Museum it comes alive every March for one day of non-stop activity drawing people to Temora. It incorporates historic buildings including Sir Donald Bradman's home and old mill and a village church and heaps of unusual and unique exhibits.

The Temora district is an important industrial centre for the rich wheat belt of the northern and western Riverina of NSW and have a significant primary production industry.

Mixed farming includes a wide range of winter cereals as well as cattle, sheep and pigs. Alongside are olives, vineyards, honey processing, worms, deer and ostrich farming. Temora is also home to the second largest honey producer in Australia.
